On 23 April 2025, Ministry of Post and Telecommunication issued a press release on process of artificial intelligence governance.

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunication (MPTC) wishes to inform the public about certain significant activities that MPTC, as the line ministry responsible for the digital sector, has implemented and is carrying out for the governance or artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies as detail in the press release.
